You will be accountable for the execution of the Problem Management process and engage a wide range of stakeholders in IT to achieve problem closure.  Playing a pivotal role in ensuring IT delivers on the University’s strategic aims and objectives, and support the IT Leadership team with the implementation of continual improvements.  

You will utilise your skills as an IT Professional, and your excellent understanding of IT Service Management and its underlying functions. You will also be proficient at managing conflicting demands of problem resolution with incident resolution and planned changes through an operational skillset.

Working closely with the IT Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively across all functions of IT to ensure that problem resolutions or workarounds are effectively deployed in support of the reduction of future incidents.  You will also be responsible for effective liaison with third party suppliers to ensure service levels are maintained.
