Job description

Fuse Energy, a pioneer in renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled and innovative Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. As we continue to develop cutting-edge technologies and sustainable energy solutions, we are looking for an engineer who is passionate about chemical processes and their application in the renewable energy sector.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and systems for renewable energy applications, in both pre-FEED and FEED phases.
  • Conduct research and development to improve existing processes and develop new, sustainable chemical technologies.
  • Analyze and interpret data from experiments and simulations to drive process improvements and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure the seamless integration of chemical processes into products and systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all chemical processes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement protocols and standards for testing and validation of chemical processes and products.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the scale-up and transfer of chemical processes from the lab to full-scale production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. A master’s or PhD is preferred.
  • Proven experience in chemical process design and optimization. FEED experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and process control.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software for process simulation and analysis (such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
