As the Manager, Business Banking Credit Cards, you will ensure specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives, making sure that that all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The role is ideal for a results-oriented self-starter who enjoys building productive relationships across internal and external partners, deriving breakthrough insights from diverse data sources and communicating effectively across channels and mediums to transform the client experience.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:Manage and optimize a portfolio of Business Credit Cards within the Scotiabank Credit Cards TeamCollaborate with the Senior Manager, Business Cards to develop and bring to market tactics to optimize product line strategy and portfolio performance while driving best-in-class economics, risk management and client experienceManage product portfolio activities including overall P&L responsibility, managing product features and closely working with Marketing and Acquisition teams to determine acquisition and retention offers, budgets and campaignsIdentify trends and opportunities through data analysis and prepare regular reports on portfolio performanceEmploy financial, market, and industry analyses in drawing conclusions and developing portfolio, product and program recommendationsContribute to the development and delivery of new programs from concept to execution including the preparation of supporting business cases, documents, presentations and project plansDevelop and execute the communication strategy, with continual adjustments and improvements as neededManage and support project plans for implementing initiatives, while identifying milestones, timing and recommending resources required to complete initiativesDrive post-analysis reporting and measurement of initiative results with Finance and AnalyticsAnalyze and develop recommendations for improvements and enhanced efficiencies for future portfolio campaigns, programs and initiativesUnderstand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Implement and execute day business controls to meet obligations with respect to risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct riskChampion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environmentDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:Post-secondary education in a related fieldPrevious experience working in Product Management (Cards preferred) and/or Strategy focused rolesA detailed understanding of the Credit Cards business or relevant experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsExcellent communication skills, especially delivering strong business cases and presentationsWorking knowledge of marketing and research methodologiesComfortability working in a hybrid work environmentLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : TorontoScotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
