We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and take ownership of our platform, which powers a suite of life sciences products. In addition to overseeing the platform’s day-to-day operations, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in integrating Generative AI capabilities into our ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to shape the future of how AI technology can help life sciences companies and drive impact at scale.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.– Proven experience (5+ years) in product management roles, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering impactful software products or platforms.– Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly Generative AI, and their applications in real-world scenarios. Familiarity with LLMs and foundation models including OpenAI GPT, LLAMA, Claude etc.– Familiarity with agile development methodologies (use of JIRA etc.) and product management best practices.– Experience working in the life sciences industry, with knowledge of drug discovery and development lifecycle, industry trends, and customer pain points.– Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.It would be great if you also have:– Background in Computer Science, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence (e.g. MSc, PhD)What will you be doing in this role?1. **Platform Strategy and Development:**– Define and execute the platform’s long-term roadmap, aligning with the company’s overall strategic objectives and market needs.– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to prioritize features, enhancements, and optimizations.– Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and user feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.2. **Generative AI Integration:**– Lead the integration of Generative AI technologies into our platform, leveraging machine learning algorithms to enhance product capabilities and user experiences.– Work closely with data scientists and AI experts to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions that address key challenges and unlock new opportunities in the life sciences domain.– Champion a culture of experimentation and learning, iterating rapidly to refine AI models and algorithms based on real-world performance and feedback.3. **Product Lifecycle Management:**– Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch to ongoing optimization, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.– Establish OKRs and success metrics to measure the impact of platform features and AI initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.4. **Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:**– Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on platform development progress, milestones, and challenges.– Collaborate with internal and external partners, customers, and industry experts to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and co-create value-added solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.About the TeamThe team consists of 3 Product managers based in Europe and US , reporting to the VP of Product Management who is based in the UK.Hours of WorkThis is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The working schedule is flexible, mostly centered on CET time zone with occasional need to accommodate late or early meetings with US or East Asia time zones. The position is hybrid going to the office in Barcelona 2-3 times per week.What We Can Offer You
