The Role:

 

Oxfam GB is looking for a UK based Stock and Sales product owner who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the core retail infrastructure such as Navision, Dynamics 365, TarGit and our EPOS environment and the cloud hosted database environments in Azure.

Resourcefulness is a key requirement of this role, you should be able to respond to requests and diagnose problems quickly so that our technology runs smoothly.

 

The role will work alongside a wide variety of retail and finance teams, you will need to have strong communication skills to respond to support requests, suppliers and help support projects and be able to work alongside others to help maintain our systems.

 

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Supporting a retail stock and sales database by developing and maintaining the database environment.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure that all systems are reliable and that any issues are addressed as they appear.
  • Supporting project work to integrate databases with new environments (e.g. new EPOS hardware)  or to support the upgrade of our databases to new software versions or platforms.
  • Stakeholder relationship experience, supporting the product users, senior retail teams, and third part suppliers to ensure that the environments created for them is fit for purpose and is configured correctly.
  • Acting as a forth line escalation point to resolve any technical issues and to provide training to the users of the system.

We believe flexible working is key to building the Oxfam of the future, so we’re open to talking through the type of flexible arrangements which might work for you. We think this role would work particularly well as partially home-based and office based (hybrid working) with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Head Office. This would be agreed with your manager.
