  • High School diploma
  • Must possess a valid class 5 license
  • Available to work a variety of different shifts, including weekends and on-call work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Safety oriented, particularly while operating heavy machinery
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
  • Forklift driving experience is an asset

Compensation:

  • Base payrate of $33.71/hour
  • Extended Health Benefits (after first 40 days)
  • Safety boot allowance

Our headquarters is in Mississauga, ON, but we proudly have nearly 2,600 employees spread across seven manufacturing plants in Quebec, British Columbia, Ontario, and Tennessee.Production EmployeesThe successful candidate will start off on the Spareboard, working a variety of jobs and equipment in the mill to support our Paper Machines and Converting Operations. Successful candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical.Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Successful candidates must be available for all shifts, including weekends and nightshifts. This position may require the individual to wear a full-face respirator.Job Duties:

  • Perform a variety of labour duties in various areas of the mill
  • Regularly lift up to 50-60lbs
  • Identify and analyze problems as they occur, work with the team to troubleshoot them
  • Work at heights or in confined spaces as required
