The department’s faculty and research expertise are focused on various areas, including employment relations and human resource management, organisational behaviour, managerial economics and strategy, information systems and innovation and marketing.Faculty members actively engage in research and scholarly activities across LSE, collaborating with research centres such as the Centre for Economic Performance, the Behavioural Lab for Research and Teaching, and various interdisciplinary institutes. The Department offers a range of degree programs, including a BSc in Management, a Masters in Management, and a PhD in Management.The successful candidate for this position will contribute significantly to the intellectual vibrancy of the Department of Management and the School. This contribution will encompass conducting and publishing exceptional research, delivering high-quality and inspiring teaching, mentorship to junior faculty members, and actively participating in both School and broader Departmental initiatives. Additionally, the role entails taking a leadership role within their respective academic fields of interest and LSE community.The Department of Management is actively seeking to hire outstanding Professors who will further enhance our internationally renowned, innovative, and socially engaged faculty. We welcome applications from candidates who explore both micro topics of global significance, utilizing diverse perspectives and methodologies in their research pursuits.Applicants who meet the criteria for success should hold a PhD in Organisational Behaviour or a closely related social science discipline or relevant interdisciplinary field. They should also demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding research, as evidenced by existing publications of the highest quality. This should be evident through publishing on a continuous basis in internationally excellent publications, with a clear, well developed, and viable strategy for future outstanding research that will result in further world-leading publications.
