Research programmes revolve around collaboration, shared equipment and facilities, and shared learning, streamlining the process of getting new research programmes off the ground. The role is to establish an independent and leading research activity in the broader field of optical fibres, in an area aligned with both University and funder priorities.The role includes management/leadership and teaching responsibilities.About youYou will:
Additional InformationAs well as conducting cutting-edge externally funded research as a part of a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of taught courses at undergraduate level and to supervise doctoral students.The University of Bath is a leading research-intensive University. The Department consists of over 40 academic staff with over 80 postdoctoral researchers & PhD students, and graduates approximately 130 undergraduate students each year.
