Professor of Practice, School of International Affairs

Position description

The Penn State School of International Affairs (SIA) in University Park invites applications for a Professor of Practice position to begin in the fall 2025 semester. The person hired will teach courses in our Master of International Affairs program with the expectation that most of the teaching will take place in person. In addition, the Professor of Practice will spend time engaging with students outside of the classroom and advising students.

The successful candidate will have the professional and educational background necessary to teach courses in international affairs. We are especially interested in candidates with the ability to teach courses focused on national and international security and diplomacy.
