The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Politics invite applications for this Professorship from persons whose work falls within the general field of Politics (with the exception of International Relations and Public Policy), to take up appointment on 1 September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.Candidates will have an outstanding research record of international stature in the field of Politics and the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to build on current strengths of the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge. They will hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification and demonstrate a proven track record of publications in the best international outlets.Standard professorial duties include lecturing, supervising, research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor is expected to be based in Cambridge.
