For more information visit: .Job SummaryResponsible for the development, tracking and execution of detailed project plans for Logistics Systems and Training. With support from Global Logistics and Serialization SMEs, the role will focus on project managing programs and projects with impacts beyond individual sites or products, in alignment with meeting logistics processes, training and emerging serialization requirements across global markets. Initiatives include those that support leveraging international standards to implement consistent Global Supply Chain Logistics processes and product marking of our products across all sites and Global External Supply partners. The oversight of projects relating to data capture and exchange via optimized global processes to ensure compliance to Regulatory and Customer requirements is also a key deliverable.This role will provide direction and support to key internal and external stakeholders throughout the program and project management process to ensure compliance to market serialization requirements while supporting the business strategies and meeting product supply requirements and ensuring safe and secure movement of our products.The Project Manager should be able to influence the strategy and direction, drive outcomes, proactively deal with issues and engage across multiple stakeholders at all levels.Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful execution of projects and initiatives related to ensuring timely compliance to existing and emerging global serialization requirements, Logistics systems and Training.
- Use and continuously develop project management skills and application of methodologies (i.e. charters, sponsors, objectives etc.) and software to generate detailed project plans/timelines for Logistics and Global Serialization programs including exception processing, continuous improvement and other projects identified by the department head and other team members.
- Participate in preparing assessments & proposals for proposed projects and participate in generating robust and comprehensive business case justifications in conjunction with team members and other subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Responsible for developing and/or supporting project plans for assigned Logistics systems, training and Serialization projects, identifying appropriate business resources and ensuring that project timelines are met.
- Communicate project plans to relevant stakeholders through the preparation and execution of project meetings.
- Responsible for facilitating workshops, discussions and brainstorming activities with internal and external stakeholders for exceptions processing, continuous improvement, process mapping and any other topics related to projects and process for Logistics Systems, Training and , Serialization Program.
- Manage serialization onboarding program as the serialization onboarding lead to track, facilitate and execute activities related to the MAH (Market Authorization Holder), CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organization) and Customer connections for new and existing connections in assigned markets. Participate in developing, recommending and implementing cross-functional project teams, process maps, RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed), Communication Matrices and continuous improvements for Global Serialization related Projects.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts in groups including Operations, Global Logistics,Commercial, QA, RA, NPL, Tech Transfer, IS and Global External Supply.
- Execute projects based on priorities established by the Logistics Processes and Global Serialization teams. (IE: process improvement in how Contract Manufacturing and Packaging Organizations are managed, supporting Global Logistics and other Global Supply Chain groups)
- Effectively utilize systems / applications to support activities such as project implementation, routine operations, exceptions processing and troubleshooting to ensure business continuity.
- Evaluate resource requirements for the projects, recommend changes as required and coordinate sourcing of resources.

Job Requirements
- Education
- University degree or equivalent in Business and/or Science related field (BSc, BASc Engineering or similar preferred)
- Integrated Project Management & Technical Acumen, PMP Certification considered an asset
- APICS designation or actively working towards considered an asset
- Lean Six Sigma designation an asset
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiar with development, manufacturing & packaging and testing of products, and capabilities/principles of operation of relevant equipment and facilities
- Excellent project management and leadership skills with proven experience holding cross-functional members accountable and facilitating the decision-making process
- Continous Improvement mindset tied to project management and process improvement
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills – excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Strong decision-making, analytical, facilitation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP is an asset.
- Working knowledge of GMP
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Experience
- 5+ years experience in project management, change management, regulatory/quality/technical operations, supply chain in pharmaceutical environment
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and project management software (EPM, Microsoft Project)
- Excellent understanding of ERP/SAP processes, serialization systems, supply planning and master data
