Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Programme Administrator to join the Business & Law Faculty this Summer.Birkbeck is celebrating its 200th year and student experience is key to our next century. As Programme Administrator within the Faculty of Business and Law, you will be part of a team supporting a diverse group of students and teaching staff in the delivery of academic programmes.You will work closely with academic staff, and other professional services staff, and will:
- Support the delivery of modules and programmes of study, dealing effectively with college processes, systems and procedures
- Deal with student queries and concerns sympathetically and effectively, in all cases, following college policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality student experience
- Support student success and wellbeing
- Provide administrative support and support Faculty activities.
To be successful as Programme Administrator, you will:
- Be flexible and able to work as part of a team on a variety of projects, using strong organisational skills
- Be able to work collaboratively and cultivate excellent working relationships
- Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience of administration, preferably in an education setting
- Be comfortable using a variety of electronic systems (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SITS student records, Moodle etc), though training will be provided.
