UNICEF in Serbia cooperates with government organizations, as well as with civil society organizations, independent human rights institutions, the private sector and the media. The overall goal of the country programme (2021-2025) is to support the efforts of Serbia to promote and protect the rights of all children and to give all children equal opportunities to reach their full potential. The incumbent will support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives in social protection and other governmental sectors as needed, and will also support UNICEF office in Serbia in mainstreaming innovation (particularly digital innovation) throughout its programmes, to test and scale up new partnerships, technologies, and collaborations to help Serbia to realise its children’s rights.
How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision and technical guidance of the Child Rights Monitoring Specialist, and in close cooperation with the multi-disciplinary programme team, ICT/T4D Associate and innovation and social and behavioural change consultants, the Digital Transformation and Innovation Officer will support the development, coordination, and monitoring of innovations, and will provide ongoing technical support to each programme team in the design and implementation of their respective innovation flagship initiatives.
