Description We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented individual for the role of Project Assistant in St. Paul, Minnesota. The successful candidate will primarily focus on facilitating the smooth operation of event check-ins for high-end food and drink festivals, utilizing technical tools and applications for efficient processing of attendees. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize provided technical tools and applications to manage event check-ins, including ticket scanning and guest registration

• Work within the box office area to ensure efficient processing of attendees

• Greet guests warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout the check-in process

• Collaborate with on-site staff to uphold quality standards and streamline operations

• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively at all times

• Adhere to dress code standards, including wearing a white polo or button-down shirt with khaki pants

• Use reliable transportation for travel to event locations.

Skills:

• Proven experience in the service industry, particularly in events management

• Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing excellent customer service

• Comfortable with using technical tools and applications

• Ability to adhere to dress code standards and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in customer service, with a focus on excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in project management or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with various project management tools and software.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management or a related field is preferred.

• Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
