Overview of position

Under the overall
supervision of the Senior Programme Associate (SNFI/Field Coordination), and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer administrative supervision head of sub office, the successful candidate will contribute to roll out client CCCM programmes and will be responsible to support client CCCM unit, he/she will perform the following duties.

/ Responsibilities:

In coordination with and under the guidance of the Senior Project
Assistant (Field Coordinator) in the region, perform needs assessments of
disaster-affected and displaced families or target groups in line the SoP, Isac
guidelines using various assessment tools, including Kobo, and enter all
relevant data from the field into the ESNFI Database.

Coordinate the needs assessment and response at the community
level with key informants and disaster-affected representatives, including
women.

Ensure the assessment forms (Multi sector needs assessment for
-MSRAF, family assessment forms-FAF)) are encoded in SNFI database.

Assist the supervisor facilitating coordination with community,
district authorities’ levels for assessment and response.

Helping partner agencies gather sector-specific needs using
community-level assessment forms, MSRAF, and, if necessary, providing
orientation on the inter-agency form.

Record. Filing and keep incident reports in the database until
they are confirmed by the field coordinator.

Draft the initial report from the assessment outcomes and share
with the supervisor for revision, medication and sharing with the partners on
the ground.

Handling the preparation of waybills and other in/out
documentation for the provincial warehouses where program is assigned for.

Participating in the relief item distribution and assisting with
documentation, including cash-based interventions for emergency response and
shelter activities.

At the field level, ensure that various community groups (women,
children, elderly individuals, widows, and people with disabilities) are
involved in the assessment and emergency response efforts.

Required
Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in political or social science, or other
relevant field with
one year of working experience.

Or

High school/College diploma in the above fields of studies with
three years of relevant
professional experience.

Experience

Experience in the region and
familiarity in the region required, experience in working with humanitarian
organization and emergency projects.

Experience in the usage of office
software packages (MS Word, Excel, Kobo, etc.) usage of database and different
assessment forms and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis an added
advantage

Experience in the usage of
office software packages and Kobo Toolbox is an advantage.

Skills:

In depth knowledge of the broad range of
migration related subject areas dealt with    by the Organization; and,

Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor
programming.

Knowledge of financial rules and
regulations.

Knowledge of International Public Sector
Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

Languages

For all Applicants,
fluency in English is required (oral and written).

        Working
knowledge of Pashto or Dari is required.

        Fluency in all national language(s) are
highly advantages.
