Job summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a varied and exciting range of projects from inception to completion.  The post holder will collaborate with a range of collaborators, investigators, sponsors and funders from the UK, Europe and Worldwide to ensure the effective management of the projects supervised by Professor Christoph Lees at Hammersmith Campus.

Duties and responsibilities

You will support projects such as the TRUFFLE 2 study which is a multi-site collaboration looking at the impact of growth restricted babies. Professor Lees has funding for various clinical studies from bodies such as NIHR, Welcome Trust and the Medical Research Council. The post holder will be required to support in preparing grant applications and final statements to funders. You will assist in managing the team, arranging team meetings, reviewing budgets, assisting with grant applications, liaising with journals and ethics committees.

Essential requirements

An undergraduate degree in science or a health-care related subject is essential, relevant professional experience may be considered. Project management experience and working in a university or NHS setting is vital.

The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023.  Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite.  The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview.
