There are approximately nine million members in the plans we manage. We have been developing and providing fully automated administration services for nearly 30 years since our Ariel administration platform was first introduced to the market. Our primary mission is to support our clients in every aspect of the design and delivery of the compensation, benefits, pension and health management programs they maintain.We serve a wide range of clients, including corporations, businesses, government organizations and multi-employer plans. Our Global PMO team oversees the delivery of system implementations for our new clients. As members of the PMO, we are dedicated to leveraging effective project management as our key driver of business success. A key focus of our team is to deliver projects that meet or exceed expectations, while optimizing resources and minimizing risks.Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish togetherAre you interested in strategic planning and execution with quick and effective problem-solving skills? If so, we are seeking Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Business Project Management, the Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire lifecycle of software implementation projects using Ariel, our pension and group insurance administration platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at TELUS Health and client stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to client satisfaction will be critical to delivering high-quality business solutions.What you’ll do…Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure client satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a cross-functional implementation team (including data, quality assurance, web development, configuration, and programming) by setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment.Project Scope & Objectives: Work closely with clients and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals. Communicate these effectively to all stakeholders.Budget & Resource Management: Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Proactively manage resources, costs, and third-party dependencies, adjusting as needed to meet project targets.Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks early and establish mitigation strategies. Address any project issues swiftly, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.Project Planning & Prioritization: Develop detailed project plans, set priorities, and manage timelines to ensure all tasks are delivered to a high standard. Continuously assess and adjust priorities as necessary.Status Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, monitor milestones, and regularly communicate status to internal leadership, client stakeholders, and governance committees. Deliver detailed project status reports and escalate issues where needed.Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained throughout the project. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to verify that deliverables meet client expectations and internal standards.Change Management: Manage the change control process by ensuring any project changes are appropriately documented, reviewed, and approved.Project Handover & Support Transition: Ensure seamless post-implementation handovers to operational teams. Oversee the transition from project delivery to ongoing client support, ensuring that clients have the necessary resources for continued success.Additional ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate strong communication between client stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors. Drive collaboration and alignment across business units.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project delivery outcomes.Client Training & Knowledge Transfer: Lead or coordinate client training and knowledge transfer sessions as part of the implementation process to ensure they are prepared for system operation post-launch.You have…Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits (pension plans, group insurance, payroll) or software implementation, with at least 3 years in project management.Experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong team management and collaboration skills.What you bring…Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing and driving alignment among diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically when navigating project challenges.Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project; experience with ADO and Workday is a plus.Familiarity with pension and benefits administration and associated regulatory frameworks.Willingness to travel within North America as required.Nice to HaveAgile or Scrum certification is an asset.PMP or CAPM certification preferred.A bit about usWe’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
