Job Description:Wood is seeking “Expression of Interest” for a Project Manager to join our Operations team, based in New Brunswick with experience in the industrial sector. In line with the Wood core values and personal commitment to the core values, the Project Manager will ensure delivery of the service in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner, in line with contractual requirements, to the satisfaction of customers and to Wood.Responsibilities:

• Ensure the project scope is well defined and agreed among all stakeholders. This includes project deliverables, project assumptions and project risks
• Ensure the baseline cost estimate and schedule reflect the scope
• Act as the focal point for all project related issues. Manage project related issues with client Project Engineers and Wood Discipline Leads
• Monitoring of costs and budgets
• Monitoring of delivery status and progress, communicating delivery status and progress to appropriate stakeholders
• Monitoring and control of Wood workflow process
• Monitoring and control of change management process
• Facilitate management review, detailed design clarification meetings, constructability reviews and close out meetings
• Ensure all technical issues associated with a modification or repair have been reviewed and accepted by the appropriate Project Engineer
• Ensure adherence to Wood’s and Client project management, change management and document management procedures and processes
• Foster an environment of openness, trust and honesty in support of Wood’s Core Values
• Position may require site visits

Qualifications:

• An Engineering Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Engineers must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of New Brunswick
• Minimum 8+ years experience with relevant engineering and / or project management experience with a proven track record in delivering on schedule and budget. Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be considered
• Strong understanding of project management principles and objectives with a strong emphasis on project execution
• Ability to communicate at all levels of both internal and client organization
• Work with minimal supervision and must be self – starter who takes ownership of tasks through to completion with success
• Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
