Airport Regions Council
ARC seeks a motivated Project Manager passionate about EU projects. The role involves leading the development and implementation of European projects related to aviation, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability. The Project Manager will be based in Brussels and contribute to the success of ARC by engaging with stakeholders, building consortia, and securing EU funding.
Who We Are: ARC is an association of European regional and local authorities with international airports. We focus on balancing the economic benefits of airports with their environmental impact through advocacy, EU-funded projects, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor EU project calls and policy developments.
- Engage with ARC member regions to address their challenges.
- Identify and apply for relevant EU project funding.
- Build partnerships and consortia for project development.
- Lead project proposal drafting, including budget planning.
- Manage communication strategies to promote project outcomes.
- Organize events, webinars, and workshops.
- Monitor project budgets and financial reporting.
- Develop strategies for the commercialization of project results.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, especially in aviation and regional development.
- Strong knowledge of EU funding programs (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, etc.).
- Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement and consortium building.
- Excellent writing, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in budget planning and monitoring.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team within a multicultural environment.
