We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to project manage ‘Seven Golf
Courses for Nature’, our exciting, landscape-scale nature conservation programme. Are you

Who we are
Fife Golf Trust manages seven public golf courses on behalf of Fife Council. We are one of the
biggest public golf facilities in Scotland and more than 140,000 rounds of golf are played on
our courses every year. We look to manage our courses as sustainably as possible, and are proud
to have achieved internationally-recognised GEO Certified sustainability and environmental
accreditation. The courses we manage are Auchterderran, Cowdenbeath, Dunnikier, Glenrothes,
Kinghorn, Lochore and Scoonie.
The team
You’ll work closely with the Golf Courses Manager to implement the Seven Golf Courses for
Nature project. You’ll help with the supervision of a dedicated Conservation Worker whose role
is to undertake practical aspects of project delivery, as well as community engagement. You’ll
also attend regular Project Management meetings with the CEO. Fife Golf Trust greenkeeping
staff are also involved in practical project implementation.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team up until 31 March 2025,
working two days per week to help implement the ‘Seven Golf Courses for Nature’ project. This
is an ambitious programme of works to improve biodiversity across seven golf courses. It is
creating new habitat as well as higher quality, better connected spaces for wildlife as well as
golfers and visitors.

The programme is funded by Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund, managed by
NatureScot. We are one year into the programme, and are seeking a Project Manager to assist us
with the successful implementation of the remainder of the project.
This role allows for flexible/remote working. It will require work across all seven of our
courses, so the successful candidate should either possess a full UK driving licence or be able
to get to sites by other means.
