We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a well established manufacturing client of ours in the Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with related work experience, preferably in the Sheet Metals Manufacturing Industry. Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks software are important assets, as well as knowledge of Omron PLC controls, automation design, and SCADA. The individual will be responsible for all areas
of project management of these large scale projects including design, drawing, manufacturing instructions, quality control, installation coordination, startup and commissioning, and user training. Customer service experience is essential as regular interaction with customers, suppliers and staff will be the basis of this multi-faceted position.Advantages

-Responsible for all areas of Project Management of large scale projects including the esign, drawing, manufacturing instructions, quality control, installation coordination, startup and commissioning, and user training.
-Customer facing team. Directly responsible for all projects from sales to delivery.
-Support Sales Team on Orders, Quotes and technical inquiries.
-Create BOM, equipment drawings, P&ID diagrams, and electrical schematics.
-Coordinate with Production on timelines and milestones.
-Create change orders.
-Perform QA and Factory Acceptance Test
-Schedule and setup logistic plan for delivery and installation.
-Coordinate installation and other third-party vendors.
-Perform startup and commissioning, SAT and User Training.
-Responsible for customer inquiries and equipment troubleshooting.
-Resolve warranty issues.
-Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.Qualifications
-Minimum 3-5 years experience in Project Management, ideally within the Sheet Metal Fabrication Industry
-Experience within the Industrial Manufacturing Industry
-University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar discipline)
-Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
-Experience with PLC controls, automation design, and SCADA
-Excellent Communication Skills – interpersonal, verbal and written
-Excellent proficiency in required computer programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Ability to work in a team & independently
-Strong Organizational Skills, and ability create and assemble documentation
-Strong Time Management Skills, specifically the ability to multi task and prioritize a high work loadSummary
