Job description
An international company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality furniture for the hospitality and food service industry is looking for their newest project manager to join their team based in the GTA.Project Manager – Furniture installation – GTAKey Responsibilities:Coordination of Subcontractors:
- Oversee the subcontracted assembly teams during the intervention for specific work packages
On-Site Meetings and Activities:
- Attend construction site meetings, perform measurements, supervise assembly processes, and participate in project handovers and fieldwork.
Support the BMC Canada Team:
- Communicate key project features, technical contingencies, and client-specific requests from site visits and meetings to the primary Project Manager.
- Prepare plans and quotes based on project requirements.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Act as a preventive resource on worksites.
- Conduct VIC (Visual Inspection Checklist) visits.
- Sign off on health and safety plans.
Types of Projects:
- Primarily focused on Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and the retail sector.
Travel Frequency and Scope:
- A requirement to be on site during installation, (approximately 3 days depending on Project size/complexity).

- Project Management/Project Co-ordination experience)
- On-site project management experience
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years in the retail or QSR sectors.
Industry Background:
- Retail or Construction sectors.
- Experience with restaurant/retail furniture supply and installation
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Language Requirements:
- Native English
- Spanish proficiency at C1 level could be very helpful though not a requirment.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong ability to work with large teams.
- Detail-oriented and methodical, with a commercial mindset.
