An amazing number, but we’re always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with.The opportunityThe Project Manager – Modernization has overall responsibility and accountability for end to end planning, coordination, streamlining, and execution of high priority projects within the site to achieve and support both local and global initiatives and goals. Key projects included are (but not limited to): modernization, Digilab, lab and operations scheduling tool implementation, eBR, etc. Leading activities for agile approach to paperless processes which include equipment connectivity to Synergy, electronic batch records, digital performance tracking, site scheduling, data recovery from Historian etc.How you’ll spend your dayEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Project Planning:
- Accountable for leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver assigned projects to time, cost and quality in accordance with Teva strategy and priorities
- Manage, facilitate and maintain all relevant project documentation and content leveraging Project management systems and tools
- Lead and participate in bi-weekly local and global meeting and calls
- Development of “best in class” project strategy in collaboration with all stakeholders
- Ensures that the roles and responsibilities are clearly defined understood and that capability exists to fulfil the responsibilities across project teams
- Leads multiple groups within the site to ensure strategic initiatives are executed according to agreed upon local and global timelines
- Manages activities and communicates modernization transformation to all levels of the organization
- Works closely with senior leaders, Engineering and IT team to quickly implement new model capabilities
- Looks for ways to strengthen team’s understanding of Agile eg Scrum concepts and principles
- Collaborate with business heads to strategize communication and training plan for business unit members
- Assist in preparing training and coaching material for effective translation of knowledge to business representatives
- Oversee project plans while ensuring alignment with the site objectives, KPIs and market requirements
- Ensure all departments have proper training to implement new electronic tools for modernization transformation
Reports/KPIs/Communication:
- Implements and enforces the use and accuracy of all tools to ensure projects are executed and reported accurately on all defined schedules
- Effectively develop and communicate project plans that include all tasks and ensure follow through until project completion
- Gather and report key performance statistics reports for Internal and Global teams. Identify trends, determine improvements, variance analysis, initiate corrective actions and make recommendations for approval
- Communicating and reporting on project status to senior management as well as Global by maintaining project summaries and report status through review meeting. Present the overall product management status and raise any significant delays or issues Critical to communication is presentation of risk and mitigation plans including impact to product supply and customer service
Continuous Improvement:
- Provide input and ideas to new processes. Rollout new processes (project management related or dependent processes) and tools to Project Management team by working with other site functional groups and/or Global
- Lead and consolidate new ideas into structured, concrete improvements
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Preferred: PMP or CSCMP or APICS (CPIM or CIRM) designation or working towards completion of certification
- 5 + years of experience in project management of multiple complex projects with an understanding of regulatory and quality aspects of pharmaceuticals and supply chain. Preferred: Experience in a change management environment to lead the site in its transformation
- Computer skills especially with Project management software, Excel and ERP systems (MES and SAP)
- Good understanding of project management, procurement, planning and supply chain processes.
- Understanding of purchasing and negotiating processes.
- Good comprehension of markets behaviors and characteristics, in particular related to the pharmaceutical business
- Experience in change management to lead a transformation in mind-set and behaviours
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP (equipment and computer validation) and RA requirements within the manufacturing and packaging environments for pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of financial functions
- Previous pharmaceutical experience
