You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of commercial engineering projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and contractors. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Prepare financial reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships, provide regular updates, and address any concerns or changes in project scope.

• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits and inspections.

• Oversee all phases of project execution, from design through construction and commissioning. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree or PMP certification is an asset.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in project management within the commercial engineering sector.

• Experience managing projects in Vancouver or BC is highly desirable.
