Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Policy and Planning and working in close collaboration with the Director, Policy, Planning, Mental Health and Addictions Project Management Office and the Policy and Planning Team, the Project Manager support transformation and operations planning across the Mental Health and Addictions Program (MHAP) by overseeing large and/or complex projects comprised of dynamic and multi-disciplinary teams, from the design phase through to development, testing and implementation. The Project Manager works within a complex network of healthcare professionals, and has a matrix reporting relationship within the MHAP. They additionally collaborate across programs as required and support processes related to project prioritization. Further, the Project Manager provides project management education, training and development opportunities to Mental Health and Addictions staff so that smaller, lower complexity projects can be managed by others.The Project Manager is committed to a high standard of performance in order to best enable their assignments for success. They align their projects with Nova Scotia Health’s vision, mission, values and corporate strategy, and that of our partners. Among other things, they apply project management methodologies to: Enable project sponsors with visibility and control; Manage the timeline of deliverables and milestones; Oversee resources; Engage and collaborate with stakeholders; Document decisions and outcomes; and Monitor, summarize and communicate progress to various collaborators and levels of leadership.This is a Provincial position utilizing a hybrid workplace model that combines working from home with working onsite.
