Reporting to the CO-CEO, the Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives for projects will play a key role in working with business leaders in deploying projects and change management across the company. The Program Manager will oversee projects from ideation to completion.What you will do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and comprehend requirements for project planning. This includes defining the project scope, creating a work breakdown structure, and developing a resource matrix and project budget.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and input to successfully complete strategic initiatives as it relates to timelines, and system requirements.
  • Work with multiple teams to resolve escalated cases/issues.
  • Ensure completeness of all required documentation from all parties.
  • Document, recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bring:

  • 7 to 10 years experience managing projects.
  • Project Management Professional designation or working towards preferred.
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS apps, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders
  • Experience with leading a team.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with experience handling multiple priorities and requests
  • Highly focused with attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with others.
