Job Description:WSP Canada is currently seeking a Project Manager, Transformation and Integration, to join our team and lead complex organizational transformation initiatives. This role is critical to the continual improvement of our fast growing company and will provide ample opportunity for the successful candidate to build relationships with various corporate and operational functions, while expanding their skills and understanding of the enterprise and its culture.Reporting to the Vice President, Business Transformation & Integration, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, defining and executing transformation plans that enhance efficiency, foster collaboration, while ensuring people-first focus approach. - Lead and manage transformation initiatives having a significant impact on the organization, such as major technology or application deployments, significant changes in business processes, major organizational restructuring, etc., overseeing the seamless merging of processes, systems, and teams to achieve operational synergies.
- Ensure the methodologies, standard processes and tools defined by the Canadian Transformation Office (CTO) are used for all transformation project phases, from set-up to close-out.
- Define and execute comprehensive project management plans, outlining clear objectives, well-defined timelines, responsibilities, risks, and communication protocols.
- Implement project information management tools and methodologies to ensure accurate documentation and communication throughout project.
- Act as a leader and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, departments, and business units to ensure cohesion, alignment and effective communication.
- Customize processes and approaches to match the unique characteristics and goals of each transformation initiative, with a focus on maintaining a people-centric approach.
- Act as a change champion, demonstrating a positive and constructive attitude towards change, and actively promoting the development of this mindset among team members and stakeholders.
- Report project key milestones progress, main achievements and risks to the CTO.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Due to the role requirements, fluency in both French and English is required.
- Proven track record in delivering and managing multi-disciplinary projects, skills/experience in schedule, quality, risk and information management.
- Experience in strategic/corporate and technology/systems project management, and/or in merger & acquisition (M&A) projects.
- Experience in engineering field would be an asset.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience managing, motivating, and developing strong relationships.
- Proficiency in using people-centric language to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including the ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
- Ability to present technical information in a compelling, concise and accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate with different types of stakeholders – technical, functional, executives.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills, ensuring productive relationships and effective collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities; monitoring and controlling schedules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
- PMI Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), equivalent certification or experience.
