The Role:

 

The role will combine technical support and collaboration in the implementation of feminist and Women’s Rights-focussed initiatives, partnerships, grant, promotion of civic space, and digital engagement and support to civil society organisations. The task requirements associated with this work include partnership maintenance, vulnerability, needs and impact assessments, activity, progress and outcome reporting, coordination and networking as well as ensuring proper implementation of Monitoring, evaluation, Accountability and Learning frameworks. Moreover, the job necessitates significant level of understating and exposure to thematic focus related feminism, women’s rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights and LGBTQI+ rights, advocacy, policy influencing.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Work pattern is a mixture of reactive and project work.
  • Required to make sound judgements regularly within agreed processes using a good understanding

of the team and the facilities of the team.

  • Communication is largely with internal staff, (including internationally) also with some external

contacts and target audiences to support operational work.

  • Analysis and communication of some complex information at a simple level is required to a wide

audience to promote and influence.
