Job overview

The post holder will join the Wessex Cancer Alliance Service Improvement team, supporting a review of all cancer tumour sites across Wessex.  The team consists of members with different backgrounds and skills and is hosted by the UHS Transformation team.

Wessex Cancer Alliance (WCA) bring together clinical and managerial leaders from different hospital trusts and other health and social care organisations, to transform the diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients. Our purpose is to lead and inspire innovation and improvement in cancer care for all people in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The WCA Service Improvement Team has been developed to work collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to implement a common cancer improvement methodology across Wessex.  You will be expected to provide a physical presence at Wessex site providers in order to fully engage with teams, understand the pathway and support development of plans to implement improvements.
