Responsibilities:Job Title: Project Supplier Quality ManagerLocation: North American Suppliers and Toolmakers (US, Canada, Mexico)SummaryLeading a Project Team, the project focus and goal is to improve the consistency and stability of parts supply from OEM parts suppliers and reduce or eliminate disruptions in the operation’s daily production.Job DescriptionThe supplier quality/supplier performance manager is responsible for external and internal coordination and will report to the OEM Customer. Tasked with the management process, in collaboration with the Procurement customers, R&D and Quality Department.Responsibilities:Gatekeeper of information regarding production milestones, volumes and capacities, sub-suppliers and their supply chain, scope of supply.Analysis of supplier production schedules and delivery date.Escalate critical issues to management, if necessary.Identifying and analyzing supplier weak points regarding the perception of their responsibility, driver role, reliability and transparency over the complete startup. Evaluation and support of their controlling measures.Identify and analyze critical issues with our suppliers regarding the perception of their roles and responsibilities, ensuring reliability and transparency over the production. Evaluate and support of their controlling measures.Technical / logistic support for capacity statements, scrapping and cost awareness.Evaluation of supplier capacities and personnel instruction.Monitoring tool relocation in case of capacity limitation or insolvencies. Qualifications:Required Qualifications (minimum 5 years):Degree in Mechanical, Thermoplastic-Engineering or Thermoplastic TechnicianExcellent knowledge of English spoken and written. German and/or Spanish is beneficial.Experience in at least one (1) of the following commodities: injection molding (1-K, 4-K), painting of plastic parts, glass with (TPE/EPDM), stamping IMD and IML injection, gas injection.Experience as project leader/manufacturing managerGood knowledge of Windows SystemStrong attitudes to interpersonal relationships and teamworkAvailability of frequent travels across the country and abroad (90% travel)
