Are you a qualified, or soon to be qualified, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) looking for a service that is committed to your ongoing professional development?A service that puts staff wellbeing and patient care at the heart of everything they do?If so, NHS Oxfordshire Talking Therapies Service has a great opportunity for you!Main duties of the jobYou will offer initial assessments and NICE approved treatments for adults experiencing common mental health problems. Interventions will be delivered using Guided Self-help (Telephone, video and Face to Face), Computerised CBT and Psycho-educational Courses. You will be provided with a clear and sustainable work plan enabling you to demonstrate that you are meeting the standards expected for each intervention. You will be offered opportunities to participate in a range of innovative workstreams such as perinatal, patient involvement, older adults and inclusion.We offer robust and supportive supervision from skilled supervisors and managers, with the opportunity to learn to become a case management supervisor yourself. We are actively involved in research, and the service benefits from being a member of the Oxford Academic Health Science Network Anxiety and Depression Network led by Professor David Clark.The Oxfordshire Talking Therapies service follows a hybrid working pattern, currently aiming for staff on average to work for 3 days in a Trust office or clinic and 2 days from home.Our two main bases are centrally located within Oxford, and we use additional clinic space around the county. Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes is essential.Qualified PWPs are expected to comply with the national requirement effective from 10th June 2022, for PWP registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS) or the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
