About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about applying their psychological knowledge in a school setting, working closely with children, to support their development.Key Responsibilities:You will provide 1:1 or small group support to children, helping them engage with lessons, build confidence, and improve academic performance.You will use your understanding of psychology to support students with SEN, such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, tailoring learning strategies to meet their needs.You will be assisting children in managing their behaviour and emotions, using positive reinforcement and coping techniques to enhance their learning experience.You need to be able to work alongside teachers to create an inclusive, nurturing environment that encourages all students to succeed, contributing to lesson planning and classroom activities.What We’re Looking For:A psychology graduate with a passion for education and child development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.A desire to make a positive impact in the classroom.What We Offer at Tradewind:We have above-market rates of pay that acknowledge your skills and experience and the hard work you are putting in.Your professional growth is a priority for us, so we offer a wide range of training and courses to help your continuous development.
