This ‘Diverse and Positive’, Secondary school, based in Croydon are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology Teacher to help their humanities department. You will be responsible for shaping and implementing the Psychology curriculum, fostering academic excellence, and providing leadership to a team of passionate educators.About the roleThis role is pivotal in inspiring students to explore the fascinating field of psychology, helping them to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of human behavior. As a Church of England school, our ethos is deeply rooted in Christian principles, which guide our approach to education and community engagement.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Psychology Teacher you will:

  • Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary school level, particularly at GCSE and A-Level. Familiarity with the Church of England school system is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge in psychology, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
