Psychology Teacher Opportunity – Thriving Secondary School in KingstonWe are delighted to partner with a thriving secondary school in Kingston, recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and student well-being. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Teacher to join their team in a full-time, permanent capacity.Position Overview:The successful candidate will be instrumental in igniting curiosity and fostering a deep understanding of the human mind and behavior among students. The role involves:
- Designing and delivering engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, aligned with the national curriculum and school’s academic standards.
- Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, inquiry, and exploration of psychological concepts.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Humanities or Social Sciences faculty to create a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
- Staying abreast of current developments in psychological research and incorporating them into teaching practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary school level is preferred but not required; NQTs are welcome to apply.
