About the internship

The trainee will have the opportunity to broaden her/his knowledge of various policy topics while working in a multicultural professional environment. She/he will receive training to monitor and analyse the relevant EU legislation, draft analytical notes, deliver oral presentations and will also participate in institutional and business meetings.

Offer: Traineeship – Brussels (in person)

ASSIGNMENT:

  • Supporting the consulting team on a day-to-day basis (press reviews, monitoring, executive summaries, institutional mapping, drafting of notes, analyse amendments, etc.)
  • Participating in the institutional strategy planning and its delivery to clients (research, proposal-building, participation in client meetings, etc.)
  • Organizing meeting with institutional stakeholders and, when possible, participate in both institutional and business meetings

DURATION: 6 months

START DATE: as soon as possible (to be discussed)

PROFILE:

  • Studies in Political Science, Law, Economics or related – Important: the trainee would need an internship agreement from her/his university
  • Good writing skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize information
  • Strong teamworking spirit, ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in an EU language (native-speaking or equivalent) + French + English
  • Good knowledge of EU legislative procedures
