  • Develop Test Strategies for project delivery.
  • Develop Test scenarios and queries for In-house developed application, DB level and E2E testing scripts
  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
  • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
  • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects
  • Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of hands on UI and Integration (back-end) testing experience
  • 8+ Prior FI experience required
  • 8+ years of experience in Test automation
  • 8 + years’ experience JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git suite and managing test cases, test plans using Jira plugins like X-ray or Zephyr.
  • Prior Scotiabank experience – asset
  • Experience working on end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle projects- nice to have
