Job Title: Qualified English TeacherLocation: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-SeaJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £31,650 – £43,607 Per annumJob Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to a diverse group of students.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through various assessment methods.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance and progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English
• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field
• Demonstrated experience in teaching English at the secondary level

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Sound knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or English
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
