Position : Prosthetic Manager

A Prosthetics and Orthotics Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a facility or department that specializes in providing prosthetic and orthotic devices. Prosthetics involve the design, fabrication, and fitting of artificial limbs, while orthotics involve the design and fitting of orthopedic braces and other devices that support or correct musculoskeletal disorders

Job Role :

Clinical Management:
• Oversee the clinical aspects of prosthetics and orthotics services.
• Ensure that patient care aligns with established standards and regulations.
• Supervise prosthetists, orthotists, and other clinical staff.
• Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the prosthetics and orthotics facility.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for patient care, staff management, and facility operations.
• Coordinate with other departments, healthcare providers, and external vendors as needed.
• Participate in strategy making and provide overall direction on patient satisfaction.
• Time to time visit the remote centres assigned with him.
• Staff Development:
• Recruit, train, and mentor prosthetists, orthotists, technicians, and support staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure ongoing professional development and training opportunities for staff.

Quality Assurance:
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Address any issues related to patient care or service quality.
• Budget Management:
• Develop and manage budgets for the prosthetics and orthotics department.
• Control costs, analyze financial reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Optimize resource allocation to maintain efficient and effective operations.
• Patient and Customer Relations:
• Foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Address and resolve any concerns or complaints related to prosthetic and orthotic services.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance overall patient care.

Technology and Innovation:
• Stay updated on advancements in prosthetics and orthotics technology.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare policies and regulations.

Collaboration:
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and components.
• Establish and maintain relationships with patterner NGO’s.

Community Outreach:
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness of prosthetics and orthotics services.
• Build relationships with local healthcare providers, rehabilitation centers, and community organizations.

Experience :
• Four or more years of experience as a centre manager.
• Experience in monitoring centres remotely.
• I have the ability to meet deadlines and meet numbers.
• Willing to travel and relocate anywhere to India.
• A Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics is minimum.
