Our private ownership provides long-term business planning and strategic decision horizons supported by a strong financial position.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a qualified Quality Analyst to join our Quality Management Team based out of Calgary, Alberta. This role will report directly to the Corporate Quality Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the continual development and performance of the internal quality management system. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for the reporting of information and data for both corporate and project quality programs. The Quality Analyst will be assigned to one or more projects to assist Project Quality Managers in the coordination and management of project activities and performing quality audits to ensuring that work standards are followed. Depending on skills and capabilities demonstrated, the Quality Analyst may also be assigned to represent the Quality Department in a developmental role to perform the Project Quality Manager function for one or more small projects.The incumbent must have the necessary training, knowledge, and related experience in project execution and the development and implementation of quality procedures. They must also possess the skills necessary to interact with personnel from all levels of the organization including corporate management, project management, client representatives, subcontractors, and personnel.in this full-time permanent role and be a champion ofDuties & Responsibilities include:

  • Lead or assist in the preparation of corporate and project quality plans, procedures and instructions.
  • Support supervisory personnel in facilitating the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the corporate and project quality management systems.
  • Plan, schedule, perform and prepare reports and actions for project quality audits.
  • Collect data and report quality metrics as required by the quality management system.
  • Assist with quality training development and rollout.
  • Develop and publish regular quality communications to the Bantrel portal.
  • Schedule, attend and record minutes for regular quality team and corporate meetings.
  • Support the development and maintenance of quality tools and reporting using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • May assist in the identification, investigation and/or documentation of NCRs, Lessons Learned, Process Improvements, Quality Actions and verification of implemented solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years progressive related working experience in quality management within the EPC or related industries.
  • Practical work experience in engineering/construction.
  • Knowledge of a registered quality management system and ISO 9001.
  • Experience in quality management and quality system audits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with all levels of the organization and within a team.
  • Lead Auditor and Root Cause analysis training is an asset.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new computer systems/skills – prior experience in Microsoft applications, SharePoint and Power BI will be an asset.
