We want to talk to you!Join our community.You will be part of the methodology team who are responsible for the development of risk methodologies used across the wider risk department. This role will sit within Quantitative Risk Group (QRG) and will focus on market risk and valuations related methodologies.The difference you’ll make:

  • Working closely with the Market Risk, Credit Risk, Product Control and Front Office teams to provide quantitative support and practical solutions in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the development of VaR / valuation adjustments and modelling of market risk factors
  • Participating in the ongoing development of various models, including
  • Demonstrating an understanding of derivatives across asset classes (Fixed Income, Inflation, FX, Equity etc.), from a theoretical perspective
  • Translating technical details into real life issues understandable to senior management

What you’ll bring:

  • Advanced Python knowledge
  • Masters/PhD in quantitative subject (like mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science) with Modelling experience

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Proficient technical background and experience in the financial services industry
  • Good knowledge of risk management methodologies (e.g. VaR, Risk Capital, Stress Testing), financial derivatives and associated pricing issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable good programming skills like R, QRM, Excel VBA would be advantageous
