TRC is proud to partner with LGC Standards, a global leader in the life science sector, providing mission critical components to customers across clinical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, research and government, food and other applied markets.Job DescriptionAs a Quoting Associate, you will be responsible for completing quotation requests in a professional, accurate and timely manner to our customers.Key Responsibilities

  • Identify products requested by customers in TRC catalogue by having an in depth of investigation of product specs
  • Prepare all quotes for products in TRC catalogue
  • Input quotations in database: including Customer Profile, pricing, availability, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and shipping requirements
  • Prepare and manage timelines of assigned quotation requests
  • Follow up with quote requests
  • Collaborate with marketing to support the executions for promotions and campaigns

QualificationsEducation Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or related discipline

Competencies Required

  • 2-3 years’ Experience working in a customer service role or equivalent
  • Experience in the Chemical industry would be an asset
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office programs and FileMaker Pro, Advanced MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, time management, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Details oriented
  • Self-starter; task oriented with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and achieve results in a team environment
