V2X Company is looking for a highly motivated Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join a small multi-discipline team of engineers supporting the Transportation, Technology and Tolling Solutions (T3S) Omni Toll product line design, design for manufacturing, integration, and test efforts.
The candidate will be stationed at V2X’s Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada location.
This opportunity is for an experienced RF engineer/designer to integrate into a senior product line team working in development and production environment.
Flexibility to work a modified work schedule as required to support roadside installation activities.
Desired technical skills listed below.
Required Skills:
5+ years of designing electronic products containing RF circuitry for outdoor applications.
RF antenna system layout and diagnosis.
Demonstrated proficiency when using tools such as Radio Frequency (RF) system Design and Simulation tools AWR (Microwave Office) ADS, and HFSS
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience assembling electro-mechanical systems for design evaluation.
Comfortable with collaborating on tasks and activities with teammates distributed across wide geographical regions and time zones
Desired Skills:
RF antenna system layout and diagnosis.
RF PCB Design experience
General EE Design experience for digital control circuitry
Small team installation team management for system deployments.
