Responsibilities
Assists with the workflow within Imaging Services to support efficiency and excellent patient care.

Checks department wheelchairs and carts daily assuring both are mechanically sound; immediately reports equipment defects to supervisor.

Cleans transporting equipment after every patient.

Uses proper lifting techniques and safety devices when transferring patient to wheelchair or cart while asking for assistance when transferring a difficult patient to cart or wheelchair.

Reports any unfavorable symptoms or abnormal behavior of patients to appropriate medical personnel.

Assists the Imaging Services Director Operations Manager Floor Coordinator and/or Principal Technologist in performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum
-
High School Diploma/GED

Within six months of hire complete: –

Restraint Training
-
Safe Patient Handling program
-
Oxygen Training program
-
Medical Terminology Course (SWANK)
-
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider
-
Basic computer skills

$14.50 – $19.94 /hour
