R&D ScientistAn exciting new opportunity has arisen for an R&D Scientist at an innovative chemical manufacturer based in Oxfordshire. As the R&D Scientist you will be responsible for driving R&D projects in collaboration with the Team Leader. You will also be responsible for developing novel materials to contribute to sustainable alternatives.As the R&D Scientist you will have previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry. You will also be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.Key Responsibilities:

• Drive R&D projects – including manufacturing scale-up.
• Develop novel materials,
• Collect and interpret analytical data from projects.
• Support NPD.
• Liaise closely between the wider team.
• Conduct your own synthesis projects.

Key Requirements:

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, or an MSc with previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Practical experience in organic synthesis.
• Previous experience with material science.
• Experience delivering new products to the market is highly desirable.
