RCK Partners is a top 5 consultancy specialising in tax relief products and has taken the market by storm since our launch in January 2020. We have ambitious growth plans to diversify our product offering over the next 3-4 years, and this role is being recruited for at an exciting stage of our growth plans.The predominant product remains R&D tax relief services and the team works with businesses from almost every sector of the economy to identify their qualifying R&D activities, quantify the expenditure incurred and obtain the R&D Tax Incentives for them. The R&D team is looking to expand with the appointment of a new R&D Tax Consultant.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of software clients
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortably able to deal with deadline pressures
  • Capability for high pressure work whilst maintaining attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Deliver technical reports and financial analysis with an exceptional degree of accuracy
  • Provide exceptional client management skills
  • Work closely with the internal Commercial team
  • Work autonomously and independently
  • Share knowledge of previous technical areas and develop further technical curiosity

Requirements:

  • Current experience within a civil/structural engineering or construction environment, would be advantageous
  • We are happy to accept applications from both candidates with 6-12 months’ experience (or more) in R&D Tax relief; as well as candidates with no experience in R&D Tax relief, who possess a strong STEM background
  • Masters or PhD/EngD in a STEM based subject would be desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously with high productivity and accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a desire to coach and support junior colleagues
