RDK Developer
Location: Englewood, CO or Philadelphia, PA
Department: Operations Technology
• This role allows for hybrid work – 4 days a week in the office
• Remote or nonlocal candidates will not be considered for this role
• Open to candidates willing to relocate upon hiring.
Brief Description:
We are seeking a highly-skilled RDK Developer to join our Operations Technology team. We provide a suite of applications used by over 20,000 Field Technicians and are currently undertaking an exciting project to develop a diagnostic meter for deployment. We’re a diverse team of 99 professionals, and we require a dedicated contractor to join our collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and update internal releases between Broadcom, Sercomm, Arcom into the XM4 RDK codebase
• Develop unit tests and support for integration testing to validate releases
• Manage versioning and deploying changes
• Attend all necessary meetings and provide regular updates on development activities
• Support a seamless code handoff to the internal team
• Support integration with RDK
Requirements
Essential Skills:
• Proven competency in C programming language
• Experience in managing and updating internal releases between external SOC vendors into the XM4 RDK codebase
• Demonstrable experience working with RDK (B, V) and YOCTO recipes
Preferred Skills:
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Hal Layer integration
• New product/requirement design experience
• Skills in building new devices (component inclusion/exclusion)
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience working with RDK platform
