The Role:

 

Oxfam in Syria is looking for EFSVL Assistant To support the implementation of the EFSVL activities at field level with local Community   Committees and Authorities, and project support committee

In addition:

 

  • Two years of experience in implementing market-based emergency food security, and livelihood project activities with agriculture, livelihoods and Value chain components.
  • Graduate degree preferably In: Agriculture- Economic – Marketing- Management sciences-Civil Engineering- Food industrial engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of participatory approaches to deliver agriculture, livelihoods and cash grant intervention with community leaders, local authorities and local partners
  • Experience in gender and protection mainstreaming
  • Strong understanding of local socio-economic development issues, institutions and local contexts for target communities
  • Strong ability to work within team and consult with a wide range of staff colleagues.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage work stress and to work under high pressure. Able to spend 100% time in the field
  • Pro-active and with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
