RE Teacher – Secondary School – Belle Vue – September StartTeaching Personnel is working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Belle Vue, known for its inclusive community, high academic standards, and strong pastoral support. We are seeking a passionate and engaging Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join the Humanities department on a full-time basis starting in September.Location: Belle Vue, Manchester
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Pay: Paid in line with your teaching scale (MPS/UPS)Role Responsibilities:Delivering high-quality RE lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 studentsEncouraging critical thinking, discussion, and respectful debate on a range of moral, ethical, and religious issuesPreparing students for GCSE Religious Studies, including coursework and exam contentDeveloping engaging and differentiated lesson plans that reflect the school’s inclusive ethosContributing to the wider Humanities curriculum and school enrichment activitiesMonitoring and supporting students’ academic and personal developmentCandidate Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching RE in a UK secondary school settingStrong subject knowledge across world religions, philosophy, and ethicsA commitment to promoting diversity, tolerance, and student engagementExcellent classroom management and communication skillsAn enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain oneThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a strong Humanities department and a commitment to developing reflective, respectful, and well-rounded learners.To apply, please submit your CV to Teaching Personnel or get in touch for more information.
