- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Religious Education.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and understanding of different religious beliefs and cultures.
- Assess students’ academic progress regularly and provide constructive feedback on their work.
- Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the requirements of the national curriculum.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the primary or secondary level.
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Strong understanding of religious beliefs and practices across various faiths.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
