• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Religious Education.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and understanding of different religious beliefs and cultures.
• Assess students’ academic progress regularly and provide constructive feedback on their work.
• Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the requirements of the national curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the primary or secondary level.
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Strong understanding of religious beliefs and practices across various faiths.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
